I first joined the Wealthy Affiliate University back in July, but I wanted to get a few months of experience with it before writing a full review. Wealthy Affiliate is a monthly membership site that was built by affiliate marketers, for affiliate marketers. It is one of the most affordable of the high-end affiliate marketing membership sites. They currently offer two membership options, a monthly membership at $39 per month, and an annual membership that equates to $29 per month. I'm glad that creators, Kyle and Carson, made the site affordable even at the monthly membership level. If the material and tools in the site help you make one or two sales of almost any product each month, it will have paid for itself.
The Wealthy Affiliate site is pretty large, but is very well laid out and easy to navigate. The "Learning Center" is split into three category groups: junior, intermediate, and senior. Inside each are many articles and ebooks that are designed for a marketer at that respective level. It makes it very easy for beginners to start with the first section and gradually move to the next as their knowledge and skills improve.
Another learning tool on the site is the 8 Week Plan. This is a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to becoming a profitable affiliate marketer. The information and instructions are broken up into 8 different lesson. One lesson is automatically available each week for the first 8 weeks of your memebership. I found the 8 week plan to be very infomative and it will be a favorite for those that prefer to have specific action-steps laid out for them. The plan was designed to be very specific and easy to follow, and I think they were successful in accomplishing that goal.
Wealthy Affiliate members also get access to some really nice research tools that would be very expensive if purchased on their own. There are keyword research and generation tools, a competition spy tool, and a really cool clickbank research tool that I haven't seen anywhere else. I found all of the tools to be very high quality and work well. The keyword research tool does a good job at helping you identify strong keywords and is comparable to Wordtracker.
Your membership also includes some good tools for your website. For those who are not great at building webpages and have no desire to learn HTML, the included Site Rubix website builder is one of the best tools I have seen for building affiliate sites. It is extremely easy to use and works very well. There is also a section with several turnkey feeder sites that you can market and earn money from without even having to build a website at all. You even get a few review-style web templates to help you create your own review pages.
While all of the information and tools that you get with the membership are great, the most valuable asset of the Wealthy Affiliate site is the member base. There is a member's only forum where you can exchange ideas and questions with many likeminded individuals. Some of the site's members are VERY successful marketers and have a lot of knowledge to share. There is also the Share Zone. Members contribute ebooks and information into the Share Zone for the benefit of everyone else. There is some really great information in this section, and new information is being added by members all the time.
The bottom line is that this site is absolutely worth the money. Any section of the site would be worth the monthly fee, so the fact that everything is included is amazing to me. While not everyone will be able to afford the membership when starting out, if you put in the time to learn from what the site has to offer, it will more than pay for itself in your first month. It really is that good. If you are serious about your affiliate marketing business and want to get yourself to that "next level", this site is one that you need to be a member of.
